Holmwood House

Alexander ‘Greek‘ Thomson. this house is an excellent example of his classical style. Investigation is also underway to recover the original interior decoration. again based on classical themes.
House For An Art Lover

CITY OF GLASGOW FIREWORKS SPECTACULAR Thu 5 Nov, 6.30pm. Free. Glasgow Green, info: 287 5190. This year's fireworks spectacular in Glasgow Green is based around an enormous structure modelled on the Houses of Parliament. The fun begins at 6.30pm with music and entertainment from Radio Clyde Dis, followed by a live performance from tribute band S ice Power. At 7pm, the Lord Provost introduces the fireworks and at 7.45pm. the Spice Power girls return for the c osing set.

Hunterian Museum
University Avenue. 330 4221. Mon—Sat 9.30am—5pm. Free. Dating from 1807. the Hunterian is Scotland’s oldest public museum — it lost its artworks in 1980 with the opening of the purpose-built art gallery in the grounds. but it is still home to a collection of the university‘s treasures.
Hutcheson's Hall

Built by the philanthropic Hutcheson brothers in the 19th century. the hall has recently been completely refurbished to give a taste of its fortner glory.
