"Buried 30 metres below the Fife countryside is Scotland’s Secret Bunker, the former nuclear command centre which has been decommissioned since the thawing of the Cold War. Once a seething mass of electronic throbs, hums and crackles, it will play host next Friday to a performance of off—the-wall sonic experiments from the likes of Mount Vernon Arts Lab, E.A.R., Add n to (x) and DJ Disinformation. Certain to be among the top ten of unusual ways to spend your Friday night. National Grid NOS608, incidentally, is the bunker's Ordinance Survey map reference. The event takes place at Underground Nuclear Command Centre, Crown Buildings, Troywood, near St Andrews, Fife on Fri 25 Sep at 7.30pm. Tickets (priced f 70) from Carnegie Hall Box Office, 07383 374 727 or Virgin in Glasgow and Edinburgh.
