The unfettered fashion flaunt will be complemented with projections of ten video works by the interior designers, which include such images as bubbles, falling people and anatomical structures. The event marks the start of a year-long process, intended to culminate in ’a major fashion event’ as part of Glasgow’s year as City Of Architecture And Design 1999. And to prove that art students know how to party, the participants are inviting their audience back to the art school for a club night called Playtime afterwards.
Morphogenesis is at Tramway, Glasgow on Fri 23 Jan, and is followed by Playtime at Glasgow School of Art. A bus will ferry audiences to the club event. See Clubs listings, page 75 and Art listings, page 85.
