Support for the development of experimental and innovative work created through the equal collaboration of artists from more than one artiorm. Applications

Development and Project Fund
(irants to support arts development, such as festivals and combined arts projects. especially in rural areas and areas of urban deprivation. Applications considered for projects commencing 1 April 1998 onwards.

Minority Ethnic Arts Projects
(irants to encourage the development and promotion of minoritv ethnic arts projects which involve artists working in the performing arts (music, drama and dance). Support for the work of writers. craftsworkers and visual artists can also be considered within the context ofov'erall performing arts programmes. Applications considered for projects commencing 1 April 1998 onwards.

Crafts
Awards for individual Development
Assistance to makers in Scotland to continue the development oftheir artist ic. technical and business skills and to other appropriate individuals who present crafts. to develop their knowledge of contemporary crafts.

Exhibitions
Assistance to improve the quality and quantity of crafts exhibitions shown, initiated and circulated in Scotland.

Special Projects
Support for c‘rafis development projects in Scotland. including the appointment and training of officers with responsibility for crafts, educational programmes, residencies and masterclasses.

Assistance to new crafts workers who exhibit a high level of cTeative and technical skills and who have a viable development plan to establish themselves as makers
in Scotland.
