The Arts and Cultural Development Office: South East and the UK City of Architecture & Design 1999 Team are looking to appoint an artist to be based at
St Martins Educational Day Care Nursery in Castlemilk, Glasgow. Starting in November and initially for a period of three months the remit for the artist is to work with the children, staff and parents of the nursery to create designs for an innovative and safe play area. It is intended that the second phase ofthis project will then be to build from those designs.

EXHIBITIONS ASSISTANT '
Out of The Nomads Tent has been trading in oriental rugs and artifacts from Central Asia for 14 years. We are currently looking for an energetic and enthusiastic exhibitions assistant to complement our small team. The successful applicant would have to be self-motivated, hold a clean driving licence and be over 25. Must be fit, not be afraid of working up ladders and have no dust allergies. The ability to get on well with people is important and being away from home for short periods shouldn't present a problem. Word processing ability an advantage. Salary £11,000 per annum.
