WHERE IT'S AT is a new club night at Cafe Graffiti, combining music. readings. film and visuals. Organised by Supreme Productions and the East Coast Project. it features eclectic music from DJ Joseph Malik and guest DJs Jamie Byng (above, formerly of Edinburgh's funky Chocolate City night) and Colin McLear, playing a combination of soul. jazz and funk. Both guest DJs are now based at Canongate Books, also the headquarters of Payback Press and Rebel Inc. Other guests at the launch night on Fri 3 October include Rebel Inc editor Kevin Williamson, who will read from his new book Drugs And The Party Line (to be published in November); plus writer/performer Levi Tafari. who'll be reading from his new poetry collection, Rhyme Don’t Pay. Film visuals are supplied by Oliver Ashton, with slides and projections by Andy Shaw and graffiti artist Derm. Bound to be a night to remember, it runs 10.30pm-2am, and should be
well worth the £5 (£4) admission.
