FESTIVAL 6pm—8pm
COMEDY PREVIEW Stephen Frost
’It's all about shit,‘ explains Stephen Frost of the French farce Leonardo Was Right, in which he’s appearing this year. The Fringe stalwart, a veteran of twelve successive years, will be making a welcome return in Roland Topor's play ab0ut complications arising from blocked toilets in a country retreat. The play will be a welcome holiday, Frost reckons: for once he's acting in someone else's play, rather than writing his own.
His definition of a holiday is clearly different from others’, since he will also be doing three other shows at the Fringe. Stephen Frost’s Celebrity Pub Quiz takes the humble and familiar format of the title, adds such celebrity guests as Paul Merton and Sean Hughes, and creates improvisational comic anarchy.
Along similar lines is Stephen Frost’s lmpro All-Stars, featuring Steve Steen and Colin Mochrie from Whose Line ls ltAnyway? (on which Frost is a regular guest). Frost also directs Peter Searles in his own South American travelogueHey Gringo.
The signs are that holiday will have to wait until September. (Steve Cramer) I Stephen Frost’s lmpro All Stars (Fringe) La Belle Ange/e (Venue 7 07) 8—23 Aug, 7.30pm, £7.50 (£6.50).

THEATRE PREVIEW Naked Wedding
Remember that special rosy glow of a new love affair, those fire-cracker feelings and the conVincing notion that you could take on the world together?
We've all been there, and back. Now picture a romantic restaurant, dimmed lighting and the object of your desire blurting out paSSionately, ’l masturbate sharks!’ Nothing like a bit of excitement in the honeymoon period.
That's Just what Foursight Theatre are about to give Fringe audiences With their brand new deVised show, Naked Wedding. Fresh from touring South Africa, this 905 love story has already been given standing ovations.
'It is the mUSlC and movement that give freshness to the piece,' says the company’s spokeswoman Sheena Lucas. 'Also, the text is sharp and funny. In one scene, the stilted conversation of the couple becomes increasingly bizarre and humorous.’ Enter the shark episode . Jaws Will never seem the same again! (Sarah Crawford)
