The touring opera division of Ludus Baroque presents V'nux A/u/ Adonis by John Blow. a masque entertainment written in l68l. Wilma MacDougall sings Venus. Charles Gibbs is Adonis. Susan Hamilton is Cupid. and the music is played by a small chamber orchestra. The audience is encouraged to dress up for the occasion. which will be staged in the manner of an l8th century masque.
