ENTREPRENEUR AND GENERAL bon viveur Colin Barr is getting geared up to take his style bar and club interests, including the Apartment and Lounge, several steps further this summer. At the end of May, he opened his new club let on the site of the former Volcano Club in Glasgow's West End, featuring nights from Ground Control, Tonka and Bobby Bluebell. He has secured the premises until September, after which he hopes to transfer the license to a new West End club. Barr has also just completed negotiations with Eagle Taverns to take over Acanthus in central Edinburgh,
5 giving it the Barr-style make-over
and opening up the basement as a club venue towards the end of the summer.

IGUANA BAR IS set to release a mixed CD compilation in the near future. One side will be mixed by Stuart Duncan, the other by Gareth Sommerville.
