Amassed by the Roman collector in the 17th century in an attempt to compile a visual encyclopaedia, these works drawn from the Royal Collection, include botanical studies through to an illustration of a dinner party. National Gallery, Edinburgh until Sun 8 Jun. Roman Signer Exploding water-filled wellies and tables catapulted out of hotel windows are caught on video by Swiss artist Signer.
