Hans Christian Anderson, the world famous and best-loved author wrote over 150 fairy stories including the popular favourites The Ugly Duckling, The Emperor’s New Clothes and The Little Mermaid. In the largest exhibition of its kind ever to be held in Britain, this is a wonderful collection of over 150 of Andersen's drawings and papercuts. Also on show are his home-made books, as well as information on the author’s life, and his visit to Edinburgh over 150 years ago.
