Mon-Sat 10am-5pm. At the Museum of Childhood you can see an exhibition about children's school stories, with books and comics spanning over a century. Titles range from Thomas Hughes‘s Tom Brown's Schooldays to Grange Hill For Sale by Robert Leeson, reflecting the changing attitudes to children's education. There are also items from the museum's collection, such as school uniforms, text books and sports equipment. It will give children the opportunity to step back in time, and no doubt stir up a few memories for
parents and grandparents alike.

In this new event, the Festival presents a one- day showcase featuring six extracts of work from the best of Scottish Puppeteers, a tempting taster for the festival, which runs Sat 19 Mar—13 Apr. Participants include Sylvia Troon, Shona Repp, Nomad Puppets, Edinburgh Puppet Company and Clydebuilt Puppets.
