The Age Of Rembrandt Until 10 May. Prints by Dutch and Flemish 17th century artists drawn from the Hunterian‘s own extensive collection. Central to the exhibition will be 33 etchings by Rembrandt as well as work by Rubens. Van Dyck. Jacob van Ruysdael and Adriaen van Ostade.

Rembrandt Etchings Until 8 Mar. A small display of etchings from the Museum‘s own collection. many of which have never been shown before. Atom Until 4 May. An exhibition looking at how photography has been used in scientific and cultural research to document the structure of the atom. atomic power and the destructive effects of the atom bomb. It features work by Shomei Tomatsu. who used photography to question the technology of atomic destruction. after his visit to Nagasaki.

Raoul Hausmann - Photographical Works 1927-1957 Until 12 Apr. Vintage prints and reproductions of photographic works by one of the leading exponents of Berlin Dada. Raoul Hausmann. It features work from his days in 1920s Berlin. through to his periods of exile in Ibiza. Paris and Limoges.

Sir William Burrell‘s world famous collection of beautiful art objects from around the world. housed in a specially designed. award-winning building. On view in the UK for the first time. this stunning collection of Russian jewellery. stoneware and ornaments documents the conflicts and cultures of the Black Sea region as far back as 5BC.

An estimated 35.000 visitors are expected to file through the door of this new attraction during the coming year. Initially designed by Charles Rennie Mackintosh for a competition in 1901. modem day architects and designers have completed his unfinished work in true Mackintosh style.

Bond Bites The Bullet Until 2 Apr. An installation by Project Ability. which has been created by a group of artists who are participating in Self/mage. In this installation. the group worked together combining their individual skills in sculpture. painting and construction and have created a scenario whereby James Bond has leapt from his ‘special edition car‘ to save the world from a threatening underworld force.
Scottish Football Association Museum Trust Until 14 Apr. Taster exhibitions of text. photographs and football memorabilia. leading up to the planned National Museum of Football at Hampden Park. Taking centre stage for the next few months is Taking Each Game As It Comes. a celebration of the beautiful game in words and pictures. with contributions from players. managers. referees. fans and more.
PEOPLE'S PALACE MUSEUM

Science And Christianity: An Act Of Creation Until May 1997. An interactive exhibition encouraging people to question ideologies of science and religion.

Designed by Charles Rennie Mackintosh and now home to archive material on education in Scotland from 1872 onwards. Reconstructed classrooms give a flavour of Victorian. Edwardian.
