Made In Bosnia Until 25 Feb. A multi- media exhibition by Bosnian artist Amra Kozic. daughter of famous Bosnian artist Abdulah Kovic. Expelled from her home by the Chetniks in I992. and a refugee in her own city. she eventually made her way to the UK. This exhibition reflects her experiences.

Animal One of CCA’s most interesting group shows for a long time. Taking on the animal world. a good line-up of artists open up a metaphorical can of worms. Pickled cow innards from Damien Hirst sit alongside drawings of nuclear fallout-mutated insects by Cornelia Hess-Honegger, while Douglas Gordon shows death with his fly-size video of a dying bluebottle. See review, page 86. CCA, Glasgow. Photosynthesis Stunning and frequently sensual light-based works by Adam Barker-Mill. Colour oozes from the near-mesmerising installations downstairs; while upstairs the works are subtler. One includes loo paper — Andrex and recycled -- while another masquerades as radiator panels. Royal Botanic Garden, Edinburgh.
Atom Until 4 May. An exhibition looking at how photography has been used in scientific and cultural research to document and interpret the structure of the atom. atomic power and the destructive effects of the atom bomb. It features work by Shomei Tomatsu. who used photography to question the technology of atomic destruction. after his visit to Nagasaki.
