INFORMATION AND PUBLICATIONS ASSISTANT Full-time. Based in Edinburgh. Salary £10,908 to £12,198
to assist with a busy programme of publications, conferences and press and PR activities, and provide clerical support to the section. Experience will be an advantage although interest and enthusiasm for this type of work will be more important.
Candidates will need to possess excellent communications skills and be computer literate with good keyboard skills and preferably a knowledge of desk-top publishing.

The List needs someone who is quick-witted and versatile to work as a temporary receptionist in our busy Edinburgh office - answering telephones, dealing with enquiries and assisting with secretarial and administrative tasks. The work will also involve helping with research into events taking place around Scotland.
Applicants should have good keyboard skills, experience of office work and an eye for detail. An active interest in the arts and media is also important.
This position is initially offered for a period of 5 months, commencing in January 1997.
