I lo-Fi at The Sub Club. 11pm—4am. £5. 4 Oct and monthly. Glaswegians Scott and Peter of Bios (Lo-Fi Records) continue their cutting edge techno night. This month DJ Skull from the techno side of Chicago guests.
I The Ark at The Tunnel. 10.30pm—3am. £6 (£4). The Tunnel’s longest running night featuring a dressed-up crowd getting down in this award-winning venue to the hard(ish) house sounds of DJ Michael Kilkie and Scott Mackay. Duncan Reid and Simon Foy in Room 2. All drinks £1 before 12.30am.

I Mundo Latino at Burlin’ Jocks. 9pm—midnight. Free. Club Havana presents salsa. merengue. lambada and Latin jazz from the award winning DJ Jazz. Pre-club.
I Parklife at The Arena. 10.30pm—3am. £4 (£3). Glasgow's first and foremost Britpop night back at the Arena playing classic pop/mod/indie sounds from the 60s to the 90s. Drinks promos all night: Gold Bier £1. vodka mix £1.50.
I Phar but at Glasgow School 'of Art. 10pm—2.30am. £3. Deep dub and drum and bass. Resident DJ Paul Cawley is joined every week by guest Dis. 4 Oct: the Ninja Tune tour touches down with The Herbalizer. DJ Food. Strictly Kev and DJ Vadim. £8 (£6).
I Pure at Bennets. 11.30pm—3am. £4 (£3). Grant Duff with an upbeat dance night which couldn't be more removed from the Edinburgh club of the same name. Gay.
I Radio City in The Attic. 10.30pm—3am. £3 (£2). The original retro club. playing Stax. Motown. Stones. The Who and other classic sounds from the 60s and early 70s.
I liadiltal Rhythm at The Dark Room (Strathclyde University Union). 10pm—3am. £4 (£3) Students plus up to four guests. Night hosted by different DJs rotating each month. 4 Oct: underground eclectic dance meisters Rub :1 Dub take the first night this issue featuring Matt ‘Herbert' Herbert. 11 Oct: Ground Control are the hosts featuring drum and bass queens Kemistry and Storm.

I Reminiscence at The Hive (Glasgow University Union). 10pm—2am. £2. Students and guests. Weekly from 1 1 Oct. Anthems. handbag. house and chart. The most popular dance from the last decade and beyond.
I llomp at Archaos. 1 1pm—3.30am. £5 (£4). Big tune party night in this massive venue playing an Essential Selection kinda spread from DJs Geoff. Jason and Mabauzza.
I liuh a Dub at Blackfriars Underground. 8.30pm—midnight. Free. R.A.D. with static pre-club vibes.
I Shag at Fury Murry's. 11pm—3am. £4 (£3). Across-the-board mix of party choons with James G.
I Slam at The Arches. 10.30pm—3am. £7. World famous DJ and production duo Stuart and Orde together providing the best in deep electronic dance. Considered to be by far the best of its type in Scotland. if not the whole country. Continues to win awards from all quarters. 4 Oct: lan Pooley (Force inc) and Larz (Funk D‘Void) guest.
I Timeless at The Sub Club. 11pm—4am. £5. 11 Oct and monthly. Newjungle night produced in associationavit Timeless Records (London). Guest DJs Ed Rush. Neil Trix and Leejoin residents KMC and Colin Gate for the Sub Club birthday weekend.
I Transmission at Betty's Mayonnaise. 10.30pm—3am. £4 (£2.50). New night from Tam Coyle (Dream Sequence) playing a danced-up. student-orientated set.
I llptight at The Bedsit. 9pm—2am. £4 (£3). 11 Oct only. Northern soul. Hammondjazz and funk in the main room and rocksteady. funk and 60s soundtrack in the bar.
I Velvet Rooms 9pm—3am. £6 (£4). Free before 10.30pm. 1030—! 1.30pm £3 (£2). Alan Ronald in Room 2 with an open mix from house anthems and disco to Britpop and soul. Martin Hesketh in Room 1 playing mellow hip hop. swingbeat and classic soul.
I The Volcano 11pm—2.30am. £5 (£3). Jamie Mitchell with classic house and garage.
I Yip Yap at The Asylum (Caledonian University Union). 9pm-3am. £3. 11 Oct and every four weeks. After three successful years in Edinburgh the club tries out on the West coast with residents Gareth Somerville and Kevin McKay.

I Archaos at Archaos. 1 [pm-3.30am. £8 (£6). A garage and house mix for a busy. moderately dressy crowd.
I Arena 10.30pm-3.30am. £7. Adrian Rennie has now agreed a DJ partnership with Baskar Dondana (Wet Without A Brolly) moving the Arena music policy away from deeper trance to more bouncy jazzy techno. calling themselves the Pulse DJs.
I Bar 10 9pm—midnight. Free. Busy hard house pre-club with Nick Peacock.
I Boudoir at The Bedsit. 9pm—2am. Free. Fluffy tunes from Glasgow‘s longest running easy listening combo.

I Classic FM at Fury Murry‘s. 10.30pm—3am. £5 (£4). Indie-pop/indie- dance shenanigans from Jim Downie and the gang. Upstairs in the new room Furies present Twister: ‘the best of Britpop and tootin‘ 605 hits‘.

I Club 69 Rocksy’s Basement. lOpm—2.30am. £5. Martin and Willy of Rub a Dub playing the best and deepest from the underground. One of Muzik’s top ten clubs of 95. 5 Oct: Declan Cannig (Vinyl Meltdown. Dublin) guests.

I Divine at Glasgow School of Art (downstairs). 10pm-late. £3 (£2.50 GSA students). Andrew Divine with an eye to the past and a vision for the future. Retro. soul. house. jungle etc.
I Dream Sequence at Rooftops (Secrets Lounge). 10.30pm—3am. £3.50 (£3). long-established indie night with a friendly vibe from Tam Coyle.
I Easy Street at The CCA Cafe Bar. 9.30pm—rnidnight. DJ Gordon Allan with a house/dubby pre club.

I Knucklehead at Glasgow School of Art (upstairs). 10pm—1ate. £3 (£2.50). Residents J‘ilkes and Ha‘t‘ch back with ‘weird shit tojack yer body to. Detroit- .style. hi-tech Chicago future funk stylee'. I love Boutique at The Arches. 10.30pm—3am. £10. The highest concentration of feather boas and tight tops in Scotland. Resident DJ Roy is joined by a yet to be confirmed guest with hard house for the glitter generation.
I Moio’s 9pm—midnight. Free. DJ Nick bringing you the renowned Mojo vibe: retro stuff with a 90s feel and 90s stuff with a retro feel. Pre-club.
I Ministry of Sound at Cafe Quodos (QMU). 8.30pm—2am. £8. 5 October only. CJ Macintosh and Jazzy M bringing the hard house sound of the Ministry to the studes.

I Pliar but Last issue we were treated to the Psychonauts on four decks and this issue DJ Food gets the four wheel drive going too. I Colours When played head to head with Cream over the Glasgow September weekend. Streetrave’s Colours pushed all the right buttons as professionally as the Liverpool superclub. Epic queues, celebrity promoters and merchandising. Is this the emergence of the Scottish superclub? October’s guests are Terry Farley and Pete Heller of Junior Boys Own joining the residents. The Arches. Saturday 12 Oct and monthly.
I Fridays at the Asylum This sorely under-used venue is going up in the kudos stakes as four new nights take up the rotational residency. First up on 4 Oct are the Glasgow hard housers Cool Lemon with Paterson and Price. Edinburgh’s highly successful Yip Yap take a shot on the 11 Oct featuring Gareth Somerville and Kevin McKay.
