I DANIEL MAClVOR is on ‘a mission to tell you something that you don’t already know’. That’s what he and director Daniel Brooks set out to do when they created Here Lies Henry, which arrives in Glasgow this tortnight alter two weeks at the Traverse Theatre tor the Edinburgh Festival. The two Daniels are based in Toronto, Canada, and collectively call themselves Da Da Kamera. They last visited Scotland for Maylest 1993 with another solo show called House. The new show - which they describe as ‘a miserable sort oi nightmarish sort ot story boolr sort of remakable sort oi regular short story’ - is reviewed on page 19 of this issue.

He played the Pavilion for fifteen years. five months a year. twice nightly. six nights a week. and now the man they (mysteriously. some might say) called Sexy Lexy is back in his old home in a this tribute show written by Russel Lane. The man deemed sexy enough to play Lexy is Roberto Bernardi. who appeared in many of Lex's shows.
