CONCERTS ORGANISER Required part-time (20 hours per week). The post involves liaising with artists. agents, officers of the University, and others involved in the presentation and management of concerts (approximately 30 per year) on campus. It also includes responsibility for organisational aspects of the University Orchestra and Choral Society. Applicants should have a musical background, expecially of an orchestral, choral or chamber music nature and possess secretarial/word processing skills.
Salary will be on Grade 4 £11,895 - £13,770 pro rata to 20 hours per week.

E.A.M.H. provides a range of services and resources in the community and within hospital settings to people with mental health difficulties.
The major focus of the Wellbeing Project is to promote change in the way mental health services are provided in Lothian. so they can respond effectively to the specific needs of members of the black and ethnic minority communities. The succesful candidate will complete a team of three.

Arts Development Officer - Isle of Harris
Harris Arts 8: Heritage is seeking to appoint a full-time officer to assist with the further development of this community arts group. A charity set up in 1994, the group comprises three organisations, namely Feis na Hearadh, Harris Arts Festival and the Harris Drama Group. The post will initially be for one year, with a
salary of £12,000. Duties of the appointee will include: 0 Administration of the programmes of the member organisations.
0 Fundraising both for programmes and core revenue, and the preparation of a bid for a new arts venue in
Harris.
9 Liaising with other arts organisations in the Western Isles and on the mainland on the streamlining of
calendars, sharing of artists and development of policy. 0 Basic book-keeping.
A Gaelic-speaker would be preferred, and a driving licence is essential. The appointment could be split into
two part-time posts covering administration and fundraising separately.
