October has seen The Vaults gripped by Ministry fever. Following a triumphant roof-raising performance from the club’s resident C.J. Mackintosh, next week brings the tour proper, with the talents of old school New Yorker Kenny Carpenter, Frankie Foncett (Release The Pressure) and Harvey on show, plus a live set from Love To Infinity. Love To who? Not to worry, by the end of the evening their name will be etched into your mind. Initially ionned as a remixing team, Love To Infinity (brothers Andy and Peter Lee) cut their teeth as sound

engineers at various studios in and around Manchester, working on numerous projects including (for all you trainspotters) the very first Take That record.
Adopting the moniker love To Infinity in 1993, they got their big break working with Melanie Williams on her dancefloor classic ‘All Cried Out’, which stormed the dance charts. Since then, the phone hasn’t stopped ringing. ‘We’ve basically been busy ever since,’ explains Andy. Who can argue, with a stream of remix credits that takes in artists as refreshineg diverse as Adeva, Grace Jones, MR8 and o:Ream, not to mention their own anthemic singles ‘Keep Love Together’ and the forthcoming floor-filler ‘Someday’, already a classic in its own right.
‘Touring with the Ministry of Sound has been an excellent experience,’ continues Andy, ‘because we’ve been able to take our songs out to a much wider audience, alongside some of the best this in the world who play the same kind of music that we make.’ (Jim Byers)
