I The artistic endeavour tormerly known as A is for Abba is back. Less snappy it may be, but the new title Growing Up in the Super Seventies tells you exactly what you're going to get. Directed by Liz Carruthers, Stuart Thomas’s play — at the Citizens’ Theatre this week - is a light-hearted comedy about, well, growing up the seventies, obviously. The ‘super’ part, of course, is a value judgement. Anyway, this celebration oi that oh-so-stylish decade has been on tour so long it’s in danger oi making it well into the next millennium. With another seventies revival due
around 2013, that might be no bad thing.
