Price includes entry to Katch. Crowded night running the gamut of rock. from heavy metal through grunge to thrash. I Century 2000 l lpm—3am. £5. Commercial dance music under the most expensive lights in Scotland. No ripped jeans or steel toe-caps. I Club Latino at The Assembly Rooms. Midnight—3.30am. £5 (£4). ll Aug and every Thursday. Friday and Saturday until 2 Sept. The Latino posse take up another frenetic residency at The Assembly Rooms over the festival. Classic salsas. the latest merengues. rumbas. cumbias and every South American dance style imaginable shape the soundtrack at this feverish night of hip grinding action. Watch out for Toto La Momposina and Merengue Mania live over the next three weekends. Look out for those Stella Dry promos! I Club Sappho at Buster Browns. 9pm—4am. £3. Women only. Resident DJ Christine spins disco. chart. oldies and progressive dance with the occasional assistance of top guest names. Free glass of wine for those arriving before 10pm. I Evol at The Music Box. 10.30pm—3am. £3. Happy Hour from l0.30—l 1.30pm. All new visuals and shiny. happy. indie sounds with a bit of a raw. grungey edge. Resident DJ Kierenjamming together those Evol favourites old and new. Look out for occasional live guests creamed from the cutting edge of the indie scene. I Fetish at La Belle Angele. l lpm—3am. £5 (£4); £3 members before midnight. l 1 Aug. Fortnightly. Cybertonics dishing up the smart drinks. Fruity. fecund and flirtatious fusion of house. hip hop and dub from Nicci (Havoc Hussies). George (Tribal Funktion) and George (Squid).

I Loungin’ at Negotiants. 9pm—3am. Free. Weekly. Firstrate and Finbar with all the latest licks in jungle. swingbeat. reggae and hip hop.
I Mambo Club at Cavendish. l0pm-4am. £5 (£4). Two floors with African. Latin. salsa. reggae. soca. zouk and calypso downstairs and dub. lovers and dancehall upstairs. Sir ()ssie is now spinning his hip grinding selection of global grooves each and every night of the Festival until 2 Sept. An excellent bet fora hot. sweaty and wild summer night out.
I Marley’s Reggae Klub at Cavendish. Taking a break over the Festival period. Back on 8 Sept.
I Minus One at The Carlton Highland Hotel. lOpm—3am. £2.50 (free for members). A relaxed. very plush venue for the more mature seekers of night life. I Planet Earth at The Citrus. l lpm—4am. £3. Curfew 2am. The 80s retro club: playing everything from new wave to synth pop to acid house and Madchester. Watch out for drinks promos.
I Pure at The Venue. 10.30pm—4am. £5 (£3 members). Guest nights £7 (£5). Twitch and Brainstorm orchestrate a gorgeous sweep through Detroit and Chicago at this. one of Scotland's top techno institutions. Excellent guests (now not being announced until the posters go up) from the electronic cutting edge. gifted residents and a sweaty. devoted crowd keep this club kicking. ll Aug. Pure celebrate five years at the top of the Scottish techno league. Happy Birthday! Andy Weatherall and Derrick Carter visit in the near future.

I Shaft at Adam House. 1 1.30pm—4am. £5. Sparkling poptastic night of retro showcasing disco stunners from the 70s. 80s and 90s. Still packed out with wild and shameless boogie fanatics. Absolutely essential to round off those heady Festival
nights — every Friday and Saturday until 2 Sept. Sexy music!
I Sole Fusion at The Vaults. l lpm—3am. £5 (£4). ll Aug. Fortnightly. Deep US house and garage with DJs Craig Smith (Colours) and Mikey Stirton (City 2). 70s and 80s soul. electro. salsoul. jazz. old- school hip hop and funk in the back room with Dis Sugar Ray and Styler.

I Earth lnterno at The Rocking Horse. 10.30pm—3am. £3. Happy Hour until 12.30am. No rave. just out of the grave gothic and industrial sounds.
I The £99 at The Wee Red Bar.
1 lpm—4am. £3. Drinks promos. Solid gold easy-action sounds; more specifically indie. 60s. new wave and soul.

l lpm—3am. £6. 12 Aug. Fortnightly. Spiritually-uplifting house. depth- plumbing garage: you really have to visit this club to realise why it's still one of the best nights in the whole of Scotland. Divas. pianos. delicious. tuneful highs.
