Salary Scale £18,918 - £21,000 Inltlally funded for two years
The Development Worker will work with Scottish community-based drug agencies and black groups to enable the drug agencies to enhance their services to people from minority ethnic groups. The Development Worker will have paid or unpaid experience of community development work in minority ethnic communities, and understanding of drug issues and good communication skills.
The post will be based in Glasgow, Edinburgh or Dundee.

A vacancy exists for an experienced and dynamic Press and Publicity Officer or Journalist to join BBC Scotland's busy Press Office in Glasgow, working with a team promoting a wide range of radio and television programmes. BBC Scotland's diverse output includes comedy, drama, news and current affairs, sport, childrens, education. music and arts,
Gaelic, religion and many other programmes reflecting aspects of life in Scotland.
Working to the Senior Press and Publicity Officer, Scotland, you will maintain close contact with the press and liaise with programme makers and heads of production departments.
At least two years' experience of publicity or journalism is essential, together with polished writing skills, the ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure and to initiate and implement promotional strategies with flair, energy and enthusiasm.
Some knowledge of the BBC, its output and its editorial practices would be advantageous.
Salary c. £28,000 pa
