Out Of Mind, Out Oi Sight Until 27 Aug. Bringing mental health out of society's shadows. this trrrtlti-media exhibition
examines attitudes to mental health in Scotland I790— 1995. from the days of quack remedies to today's care in the community policies. In the gallery‘s centre hall. an interactive cube highlights the creativity of famous people who have experienced mental illness. including Brian Wilson of the Beach Boys. Sylvia Plath and Vincent van Gogh.

Evening Echoes Until IO Jun. Gallery I. Taking the sounds of the streets and pumping them into a CCA artspace is this audio-visual exhibition exploring the world — and cries — of newspaper vendors around Britain. included are four Glasgow vendors renowned for their voices. one of which can be heard from one end of Argyle Street to the other. Visitor‘s passing almost life-sized pictures of the vendors activate the corresponding cries. Part of Mayfest.
