I Meet Nigel Chamock and papier-maché pal. This is no cheesey ‘gottle of geer’ routine but a cutting-edge dance piece from Glasgow’s New Moves season, in which Nige explores his ‘self as a masochistic performer’. Buy a ticket or the dummy gets it. See Dance listings for details.

I Whether you call her Polly, Pee] or that skinny woman from Yeovil, it’s hard not to be impressed by Ms Harvey’s uncompromising approach to her music. She’s the real thing. With an imminent new album, said to be the most accessible yet, you can hear her take Barrowland on a rollercoaster ride of emotion. See Rock listing for details.

I American performance artist lion Athey has spent his life under the needle - both hypodermic and tattooist’s - and his body is the canvas that bears the scars. His show is about pain, masochism (there’s lot of it about, it seems) and AIDS, so no surprise to hear Ron is performing for the CCA’s Bad Times season. See Theatre listings for details.
