WE REQUIRE A RESOURCEFUL INDIVIDUAL WITH RELEVANT EXPERIENCE AND, PREFERABLY, AN APPROPRIATE QUALIFICATION. WE CAN OFFER A PLEASANT WORKING ENVIRONMENT WITH A SUPPORTIVE TEAM AND OPPORTUNITIES FOR FURTHER TRAINING.

LITERARY CHARITY '
Requires enthusiastic help with correspondence and to organise social events, initially in Glasgow and Edinburgh, other areas will follow. Several helpers will be involved. These efforts will support the Centre for Scottish Writers, now entering a third year of successful short residential courses for young people and adults. Hernia! Productions are holding auditions at the end of February for a 20 minute film:-
"ARCH ENEMY"
As a result of an act of revenge by a group of Surrealists, a trio of cool 79205 French Gangsters find themselves in an out-of—town shopping mall in 1993.
They will be looking for 7 principle characters:- 5 male, 2 female; as well as a number of supporting male and female characters. They are keen to hear from French actors and actresses as well as Scots.
Hernia! Productions is a partnership of Napier University film
students; there will be no large financial rewards available but
they will meet expenses, provide meals and an opportunity to participate in the creation of the film.

The Scottish Publishers Association seeks 2 Projects Assistant
This busy but interesting trade association is in need of secretarial and administrative help, to work on a variety of book / publishing related projects. Word-processing / DTP skills and accuracy in written English are needed. A knowledge of the book trade would help, as would familiarity with Applemac systems, but most important is a willingness to learn and a sense of humour.
