Membership/Concerts Officer
This position plays an important role in maintaining the posit in of PRS in the Scottish music industry. We are seeking a self motivating, enthusiastic and confident individual, able to work under pressure providing a service to existing members, and ensuring the prompt and accurate licensing and administration of significant music venues throughout Scotland and Northem Ireland.

The sucessful applicant will have a broad knowledge of the Scottish music industry, including Popular, Classical and Traditional music, and have the ability to deal at all levels, from venue operators to internationally recognised members and their management. Excellent communication skills and the ability to operate diplomatically are therefore essential. as is a good knowledge of music in general.
This post is office based in Edinburgh, but travel throughout Scotland and Northern Ireland will be necessary on occasions and a full, clean driving licence is essential. The nature of the work requires an individual who can work on their own initiative, has a bright personality, be completely unflappable and is "people friendly". It is not expected that anyone under the age of 21 will have the breadth of experience necessary to succeed in this post.
