The last time Tramway audiences witnessed a theatre project on this scale was with Peter Brook‘s The Mahabharata. This final production in the Maly Theatre retrospective is a nine-hour adaptation of Dostoyevsky‘s The Possessed. Director Lev Dodin will be discussing the piece during the day and members of the Balalaika Folk Ensemble from Rostov on Don will perform prior to the show and in the interval on Sunday.
