Systems Support Officer
Information Technology is at the heart of providing new methods of communications, training and working practices for support services provided by Citizens Advice Scotland. A Systems Support Officer is required to work closely with senior management in the further development of the Association's ambitious lT strategy. The successful applicant will be responsible for implementing the strategy and provide support to Association staff and Citizens Advice Bureaux which have network installations. Management of Novell Servers is required, and previous Novell experience is essential. Knowledge of DOS/Windows and common PC applications software is expected, and previous experience in computer project development particularly in the area of database technology is also essential. Applicants should
ave excellent verbal and written communication skills and a clean driving license.
Excellent terms and conditions of employment including 25 days annual leave and a 15% non-contributory pension. The organisation has a performance related pay scheme in operation which is linked to staff appraisal. The post is based in Edinburgh although some travelling is required.
Starting salary: £15,363 rising to £19,412 plus non-consolidated bonuses. Closing date: 21 February 1994 Interviews: 3 March 1994

£8,985 - £12,148 An enthusiastic, experienced and well organised individual to provide a comprehensive administrative and secretarial support service to this small, newly developed Drugs Team Project. As one of the first points of contact for the project, you will require experience of dealing efficiently and sensi- tively with the public, demonstrating excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A background in a health or social services environment is an advantage.
Experience in the use of word processing and computer packages is desired. Secretarial skills are essential. The hours for this post are 37 per week, Monday - Friday. Car driver/owner preferred.
