In June I994 the I900 seat former Empire Theatre re-opens as the Edinburgh Festival Theatre. The £20 million transformation will restore an intimate and handsome auditorium. create the largest and best equipped stage in Britain and feature an elegant stack of inviting foyers and private hospitality suites.
Edinburgh Festival Theatre's mission is to become the best presenting theatre in the United Kingdom. At the heart of the entertainment will be large productions for the Edinburgh International Festival. The Theatre will be the capital's new arena for Scottish Opera and The Scottish Ballet.
A year round theatre fabula: opera. straight drama. slice-of-Iife, ballet, song and dance. late-night revue. circus. pageant. concert and personal appearances.

eight more funksters con brio:
HOUSE MANAGERS
Two full-time positions. one with emphasis on bars management
RESIDENT TECHNICIANS
Six full-time positions across all curtain-lifting disciplines
Each person will have several years' experience in professional theatre. undertaken some level of training and may have done a similar job in another presenting theatre. Work in a producing theatre would be an advantage.
The starting dates are in April and May I994.
