impressive collections of Scottish and intema- tional modern art in Britain. Picasso. Giacometti, Sickert, Kirchner, Leger, Magritte, Freud amongst others, hang beside such talents as Mackintosh, MacBryde, Peploe, Bellany and MacTaggart in a vast accumulation of art from the twentieth century.
