TEMPORARY LECTURER IN DESKTOP PUBLISHING
£13,875 — £24,903
_ You will be expected to teach theoretical and practical aspects of DTP to students taking degrees in Publishing, Communication, Journalism and Graphic Communi- cations Management. You will need to have sound knowledge of Pagemaker, Quark Express, MacWrite and other appropriate software and be able to organise and supervise students undertaking projects involving the creation of text and illustrations for book and magazine work. In addition, you should have extensive experience of desktop publishing using Apple Macintosh equipment.
This post is temporary, initially until the end of the first semester and will be reviewed at the end of this period.
Appointment will normally be made within the lowest quartile of the salary scale. '

LOTHIAN DRUGS INITIATIVE
Lothian Drugs Initiative is a major new voluntary agency which is currently developing a short-stay centre for drug users in Edinburgh. The Links Project will offer a stay of between 3 days and 4 weeks for up to 12 residents at any one time. We now require the following staff:
DEPUTY PROJECT MANAGER SALARY: £17,217 - £18,633 (Under Review)
The Deputy Project Manager will assist in the latter stages of the project’s development, and subsequently help to provide leadership within a team of 23 staff. We are looking for someone who has experience in the drugs field along with previous supervisory experience.
ADMINISTRATOR SALARY : £13,236 - £16,710 (Under Review)
The Administrator will have responsibility for the efficient management of the financial and administrative systems of the Links Project. We are looking for someone with appropriate experience and positive attitudes towards people with addiction problems.
