The Association aims to provide affordable housing for people in housing need mainly through new-build projects over a wide geographical area, both rural and urban. With a £3 million development programme this financial year. the Association wishes to appoint its first full time development officer.
The post holder will be responsible for all aspects of the develop- ment process from the identification of sites to the completion of contracts. Pie/she will also be expected to assist the Director and other staff in the promotion of the objectives of the Association.
Several years' experieinoe of housing association new-build development work is essential as is a sound knowledge of Scottish Homes' procedures. Applicants should be fully qualified in housing or hold an equivalent qualification relevant to development work. A current driving licence and access to a car is also required.
