DEPUTY CAMPAIGN DIRECTOR
Museum of Scotland Fund Raising Campaign
An opportunity has arisen to play a key role in a major international fund raising campaign. The new Museum of Scotland, now under construction. is being partly funded from private contributions and over the next four years fund raising will take place alongside a programme to promote increasing public awareness of this exciting
and important project.
As Deputy to the Campaign Director, you will help with campaign planning and be responsible for administration. This is a period appointment of 5 years with the
possibility of further extension.
This role calls for good organisational skills; ability to deal with people tactfully and efficiently; accuracy and attention to detail; keyboard skills for database operation
and word processing.
You should preferably have been educated to degree level. have a gmuine interest in the Museum of Scotland Project,
and some experience in marketing or fund raising.
Salary: up to £14,000 subject to qualifications and
experience. Increments are performance related.

EAST END DRUGS INITIATIVE
The Initiative is Urban Aid funded to provide a comprehensive service far drug users. their families and other relevant agencies in the East End of Glasgow
We wish to appoint the following staff
GROUPWORKER
AP3/4 (£1 2,31 8-81 5,570) + 7‘/2% Unsocial Hours Allowance To develop and deliver groupwork services to clients of the initiative. Applicants should have qualifications or experience in one of the following areas; groupwork. joint work with other agencies. after-care schemes or other relevant social care work. Some drugs knowledge or experience of work with drug users would be an added advantage.
INFORMATION/ADVICE WORKER
AP2 (£1 1,007-21 1,981)
+ 7% Irregular Hours Allowance The main duties of this post are to gather and collate information on drug related Issues and HIV infection. and to ensure such information and advice is available to individuals. community groups and agencies in the East End. Previous experience in the drugs field and/or information/advice work would be advantageous. We have also been granted further Urban Aid funding and as a consequence we now require to appoint the following staff.
SENIOR DEVELOPMENT OFFICER
APIV/V/QSW (£14,580-C18,633) + 772% Irregular flours Allowance
The main duties of this post are to promote and develop the Initiative's servrces. The successful candidate will be reguired to direct and work with existing staff in the provision of the Training and Community Development Services offered by the Initiative. Previous experience of drugs work and/or a recognised qualification e.g. COSW. DSW. Youth and Community. Teaching or Nursing qualification is preferable. though not essential, for this demanding post.
OUTREACH WORKERS (2)

The main duties of these posts will be to make contact with drug users in their own communities and to facilitate referrals to services for drug users Previous experience of drugs work is desirable but not essential.
