The Button Tower at Springburn College by American artist. llicola Atkinson Griffith. As part at a community-based project. lost and Found, this work was constructed alter borrowing over 400 buttons from local residents on a door to door collection, made over a six mile route between Govan and Springburn. A teaspoon chandelier consisting of over 1500 teaspoons hangs in
The Pearce Institute in Govan. and the artist intends these sculptures to capture the
emotive quality oi everyday objects.
19th century had to be felled. sculptor Tim Stead was invited to recycle pieces for this unique exhibition.
