FINANCIAL CONTROLLER
This is a new position to assume complete responsibility for the finances ofa company recently purchased from it's London holding company.
The applicant would be responsible for the daily running of the financial affairs and report directly to the Managing Director. Being a new position, it allows considerable scope for new approaches and development, hopefully harnessing successfully with the intended expansion of the company.
The ideal applicant will be suitably qualified and have a keen knowledge of cost analysis and financial planning. The position is based in Edinburgh and the successful candidate will join a young, creative team in an interesting industry.

Queen Margaret College, Edinburgh, is a university-level institution with degree awarding powers. The College’s educational provision includes one of the most extensive ranges of health care courses in the UK, business and management education and theatre arts.
We are seeking a lively, experienced, versatile librarian to join a cheerful hard-working team and to play a key role in maintaining and developing our commitment to high quality user services in a time of rapid change.
We are a busy and progressive library (12.7 fte staff, 80,000 books, 800 serials) serving some 4,000 students and staffand we are currently in the process of automating all our procedures to meet the demands of rapidly growing student numbers and diversifying courses.
Our ideal candidate will be a graduate librarian with substantial post-qualification experience in an academic library. Experience in cata- loguing, classification, systems and automation would be highly advantageous but we will also be looking for proven management ability, good interpersonal skills, initiative and adaptability.
The appointment will be offered on either a
fixed-term (of up to three years) or an open ended basis.

Scotland's dynamic arts scene already attracts significant numbers of tourists, but there is great potential for further development.
This key appointment will play a major role in developing and marketing arts tourism activities at national, regional and local levels.
This post requires a creative, self-motivated person with a sound practical knowledge of both the arts and tourism in Scotland, a track record in project work, excellent communication and interpersonal skills. There will be considerable travel throughout Scotland and a full current driving licence is essential.
The post is jointly funded by Scottish Tourist Board, Scottish Arts Council, Highlands 8 Islands Enterprise, Scottish Enterprise and Scottish Museums Council, with input from other related agencies, and is for an initial period of three years. '
