Finally back. it‘s everyone’s favourite mix of swinging sixties sounds. from golden soul to garage punk with plenty of psychedelic freakbeats and bubblegum pop in between. Unmissable! I tinder Ventura Spin—midnight. Free. Funky rare grooves from clued-up duo Hamish and Jonnie in this new exclusively early evening venue. A highly recommended warm-up for a more energetic night out.

I Club Snipe Re-opens in the old Penthouse. Tolleross with a special free party night on Friday 26 Feb. then again on Saturday 27 (£2). With things kicking off fully in the month of March. running from Wednesdays to Sundays. with a host of new nights catering for ‘serious dance music' and the latest in hardcore hip- hop. ragga and reggae sounds. Promising regular guest DJs and possible bands in the not too distant future. with limited free membership available from the club. See listings for full details.
I Bomba Kevin Wilson and Scott Gibson continue with some one-off events in March including their new night 'Paradise Park' situated within Rugby Park (home of Kilmarnock FC). The first of these will be on Friday 12 Mar and will then run weekly. Expect to see bigger crowds than the football has pulled in for a good few years. They also have two nights in the offing ~- first tip on Friday 26 Mar at Crystals in East Kilbride and then the night after. Saturday 27 Mar. at Bubbles in. Elgin. More details as we get them. The (‘lubscene
Roadshow hits the streets on 27 Feb at Club SC. in Falkirk. with Ultra-Sonic and a couple of top DJs in the line-tip. These will be followed tip with more quality PAs and DJs throughout March. Saturday 13 Mar sees TTF doing a performance of their new HP at the opening night of Hanger 13 in Ayr. which boasts a massive 15k JBL sound system and a huge lighting rig with a coloured laser system. But by no means least. Twitch and Brainstorm from Pure are hoping to launch their own record label near the end of March. So expect some excellent new hardcore/house/acid records to be finding their way into a record shop near you soon.
