girl who falls for the glamour and romance of the singer who immortalised ‘Lilly Marlene' and Falling in Love Again'.

McCrotty and Ludrnllla Tue 2—Sat 6 Mar. 7.30pm. £5 (£3). A second production of this Alasdair Gray adaptation (Michael Boyd did it at the Tron in I987). performed here by Tongue Tied Theatre Company. Transposing the Aladdin story to modern-day Whitehall. the play tells the story of a young Scot who moves to London and dabbles in blackmail. bribery and sexual intrigue. The production is a collaboration between stand-up comic turned director. Jeremy Herrin. playwright/director Peter Mackie Burns and adnlinistrator/director Neil Calms.
