Scotch Hon: Company of Angels Fri 12 Feb. 8pm. £4 (£2.50). Angus Balbemie and Adele Levi have formed this new Scottish dance company and explores the geography of Scotland in a multi-media performance. The two pieces on show are The Law of Spaces and There is Only One of Everything.
Scotch hop: Les Anges and Strathclyde oance Group Sat 13 Feb. 8pm. £4 (£2.50). A double-bill to complete Paisley's week of dance. Women and Men is Les Anges‘ look at relationships and has developed out of the company's work with the Stamping Ground. That show is preceded by a display by people with learning disabilities under the banner of Strathclyde Dance Group.

As well as this first response to the bloody civil war. the company presents three other pieces about the role of women around the world. Choreographers include Stephen Hooper and Angus Balbemie.

I Fools Paradise Old Athenaeum Theatre. 179 Buchanan Street. 332 2333. 10.30pm. £6 (£4). Jim Tavare is the only man to combine comedy and double bass playing and get away with it. Lee Evans was one of Time Out's Cabaret Performers of last year. Phil Kay is the compete. Altogether they make for another essential Fools Paradise gig.

Ben Miller was a hit with the retro-set on last year's Edinburgh Fringe with his impassioned tribute to the saint-like John Noakes. Claiming a Blue Peter Badge for musical support is Bob Dillinger.
