We are looking for a rson qualified in movement, dance or drama an who has experience of why movement is a therapeutic medium, to continue the work of our Movement Therapy Project, which commenced a ar ago. The successful candidate will work with chil ren, adults in grou and individually alone and with other workers. 8 he will also offer training and consultation in non-verbal techniques to colleagues and other workers in the area.

The Edinburgh Festival Theatre is soon to become Scotland‘s leading performing arts venue. With an imposing new frontage, 2000 seats, and one of Britain's largest stages, it will be the flagship of the Edinburgh International Festival, hosting prestigious opera, dance and drama productions from all over the world.

Working for the Theatre‘s General Manager, you will have to be the most artistically aware PA in Scotland. With several years‘ experience in an arts environment you should have good working knowledge of arts management complemented with a clear understanding of IT. And, since you‘ll be dealing with some of the world‘s most famous performers, superb communication skills are essential. Fluency in another European language would be an advantage.

As with all important roles in the theatre, this is not a .0 5 job, but you will receive a performance-related salary of £l2,000 and enjoy a uniquely cultural working environment.

VISUAL AR TS OFFICER £12,800-fl14,100 To initiate and develop a public arts strategy for the area, to include residency work, site specific installations and environmental art works. To enable locally produced exhibitions to tour, and to identify and secure a programme of visiting exhibitions. PYP is a local authority funded voluntary organisation offering groupwork, youth clubs and individual support to young people (12-18) within the framework of Lothian Region’s Youth Strategy. The worker will be expected to have experience 0 groupwork, with particular experience of developing work with girls and girls work. The project offers single-sex provision for young women and we require a female worker to develop further this area of work as well as work In other areas of the pro t. Section 7(2)(e) of the Sex Discrimination Act 19 5 applies.
