Man Act, last seen in Glasgow at Tramway with The Sweariodge, returns with another look at what being male is all about. Directed by writer Deborah Levy, the show takes us into the world of obsessive corporate businessmen.
An Experiment in Counterprolectlon Wed 16—Thurs 17 Dec. 7.30pm. £5 (£2.50). Show preceded by selected work of local filmmakers. The Brittonioni Brothers, alter egos of Forkbeard Fantasy, return to the CCA for an evening of home-made all-new filmic mayhem. Expect the unexpected. See preview.

Conundrum Until Sun 6 Dec (open Sun, closed Mon). 7.30pm. £6 (£2). Prolific resident director Robert David MacDonald writes, directs and stars alongside Angela Chadfield and Daniel Illsley in a play about the look-alike of an assassinated president. It is witty and intriguing, but its purpose remains elusive.

At turns hilarious and menacing, it is a marvellous, stripped down production that demands to be seen. A magical journey throught the animal kingdom as Myles Rudge gives Kipling the panto treatment in a production directed by Giles Havergal and designed by Kenny Miller. Dance fans will note that Frank McConnell is choreographer. Advance bookings have passed the 70 per cent mark already.

Strathclyde Theatre Group digs deep into the library for the first revival of a play by Elizabeth Inchbald, one of the most popular playwrights of the 18th century. It’s a comedy set in the East Indies which focuses on the great prison reformer, John Howard. See preview.
