Fourteen international artists explore aspects of the poetic in a dynamic show of photography, painting, sculpture, lithography and neon, taking as their starting point the simple definition of poetry as ‘anything supremely harmonious or satisfying’. Kari Friedrich Schinkei: Travels In England, Scotland and Wales Until Sat 28 Nov. The motive of Schinkel‘s journey — made in 1826— was to see the new British Museum, then under construction. His daily impressions on the ten-week visit and his drawings and sketches constitute an interesting picture of 19th century urban Britain.
