Fight to get tickets for what was easily the best show on this year's Edinburgh Fringe. The script is published in the new edition of Theatre Scotland.

The Tron begins its month-long city-wide Festival of New Irish Theatre with 7:84‘5 production of this brilliant play by Dublin poet Dermot Bolger. The play, which tells the tale of an economic exile who returns to his native Ireland to find it a less than savoury place. won a Fringe First in its original production in 1989 and is directed here by Iain Reekie. Theatre in the City: Reinventing Identity Sat 17 Oct. 10.30am—4.30pm. £6 (£16for groups and organisations). Theatre Ireland magazine presents a one-day conference to compare developments in theatre arts on Scotland and Ireland. In the morning session theatre directors and
