White Bird Featherless is choreographed to a piano and counter-tenor score by Irish composer Gerald Barry. Borders Dance Festival Sun 13—Sat 19Sept. The Borders are the place to be fordance enthusiasts this month. with a festival that takes place in Galashiels, Selkirk, Kelso and Peebles. Big names are The Kosh and the Jiving Lindy Hoppers which are both doing performances and classes, and there are a range of workshops led by practitioners including Mark Saunders and Raymond Kay.

TAG and the CCA are collaborating on a project loosely based on Alasdair Gray's Lanark and are holding this meeting for dancers and actors interested in becoming involved. All welcome.

Clark's Heartless is a visceral and expansive dance with piano accompaniment . while Maliphant‘s Evolving Paradigm is to do with maps and our perception of the world. In their duet, the two men who between them have experience of working with Laurie Booth. DV8 and Siobhan Davies. explore the boundary between planned and improvised movement.
