Secretary Television Drama

Scotland’s busy Television Drama Department which is responsible for many network productions on 8801 and BBC2 including the current series Strathblair urgently require a secretary who can keep calm and maintain a sense of humour under pressure. You must have excellent secretarial skills including word processing and shorthand and be able to assess priorities when faced with conflicting demands on your time and have the ability to deal tactfully with all levels of staff, artist(e)s and members of the public. Applications are invited for the post of Library Assistant (Curatorial Grade G) in the Libraries of the National Museums of Scotland.

Minimum qualifications are 4 “0” levels or equivalents including English. Previous experience in a library or information service together with experience of computers and/or library automation are desirable but not essential.

The successful applicant will be expected to undertake a range of general library duties and may be required to work at any of the three library serviCe points within central Edinburgh.

Salary: £6,769-511,l46 (under review) depending on a3; qualifications and experience.
