I Vaults Tribal Funktion‘s opening night at The Vaults on 22 May wasa success with both Tribal Funktion and their guest band. Pap‘s Magic Beard, entertaining an enthusiastic and large crowd and with all profits goingto the EASTcharity it was good for the soul as well. Only complaints were from punters who found themselves covered in plaster when they rubbed against the inside walls. and hopefully this problem has now been overcome with the arrival of a coat of gloss paint. The other slight hitch — blocked toilets and the ensuing flood - has yet to be overcome and remains the club‘s biggest drawback. Management would like to offera special prize to the considerate soul who decided to stuffa rollof toilet paper down the toilet. lithe culprit writes to The Vaults they will be happy to pass on the £400 bill from Dyno- Rod. Finally, providing all problems have been solved Glasgow's Blast Offwill hold their fourth event at the venue on 20 June. Tickets, priced a very reasonable £7.50. will be available from
Rippingin Edinburgh and the GFT and Lost In Music in Glasgow. More
