No complaints about the artiste, it’s just the way that she wastes her talentson slushy middle-of-the-road bailadeering. I The Disposable lleroes or lllphoorisy and Fenn lm Bru Rox, King Tut‘s Wah Wah Hut, St Vincent Street, 221 5279. 8.30pm. £5. lrn Bru Rox kicks off with the most interesting and apposite line-up of the week. The Disposable Heroes rose to prominence a couple of months ago with a reworking of their old band The Beatnigs ‘Television‘ and are consolidating now with an album that is full of righteous anger without threatening to kick your head in. Penn, now a three-piece once more, wield aggressive guitars but seek to exhilarate rather than intimidate.

Hair and Skin Trading Company feature Neil and John from Loop and will therefore be brilliant.
