Probably the single most exciting event on this year’s music calendar is the Scottish Fleadh — a remarkable celebration at Scottish and Irish music taking place on three stages on Glasgow Green all day on Sunday 24 May. Among the 30-plus bands playing are Van Morrison, Del Amitri, Christy Moore, The Chieftains, Edwyn Collins and Kirsty McColl in what is the hottest line-up in Scotland since 1990’s Big Day. The List has live pairs at tickets Iorthe Scottish Fleadh 1992 (worth £20 each) and all you have to do is answerthe question and return the torm by Tuesday 14 April when the draw will take place.

The two Edinburgh bands playing in the Five Band Blues all-day concert were the Rootsie Tootsie Band and Tam White. Winning pairs at tickets to the event were Zana Vantsis, Nick Simmonds, Patrice Buyle (all Edinburgh), Alan Taylor (Burntisland) and David Cameron (Auchtertool).

Danny Boy is the tune played in the shoot-out scene in Miller’s Crossing and the lollowing people won tickets to see Barton Fink at the GFT as well as a copy at the screenplay: Barry Burns, Raymond Boyce, Richard McCulloch (all Glasgow), Claire Gallacher (East Kilbride) and Woll GrueIIich (Kippen).
