Masterpieces tor Scotland Until Sat 22 Feb. An opportunity to view an important collection of art recently acquired for Scotland under the ‘Acceptance in Lieu‘
scheme. The works. two Gainsboroughs. a Rubens and a rare painting by Hercules Seghers. belonged to Hampshire landowner Eva Borthwick: she submitted them to the Treasury in settlement of atax liability of £65 million. on condition they be passed to the RSA for exhibition.
