I Dateless at Shady Lady’s. 10.30pm—4am. £2.50. Kitsch sounds for that party atmosphere.

I Evoi at Wilkie House. 10.30pm—3am. Indie club run by the originators of Chlorine Dream. Look out for occasional live bands.

I Fireball Club at the Complex Hotel. Penicuik. 9pm—lam. £1.50.

I Hipster! at The Music Box. 10.30pm—4am. £2.50. Well. it's the end of an era as far as indie clubs in Edinburgh is concerned. Floral Riot is no more but do not fret as the spirit will live on in Hipsterl. Floral Riot DJs Ian and Mark havejoined forces with visuals and special effects maestro. Sam. and promise upfront indie from the scene‘s most exciting movers. With psychedelic projection. films. slides. oil wheels and their usual excellent playlist it looks unlikely that Floral Riot will be missed for very long.

I Millionaires 10pm—6am. £3 members££5 non-members. Mixed club that due to its late licence attracts hardened drinkers and clubbers like moths to a flame. Music supplied by resident DJ. Flip.

I The Paradox Club at Calton Studios (downstairs). 10.30pm—4am. £4. 15Nov only. PA from Rozalla. chanteuse currently in the charts with Everybody‘s Free and who will no doubt be playing her new single Faith (In The Power Of Love). I Pure at The Venue. 11pm—4am. Members and guests only. Edinburgh‘s most popular (and best) hardcore dance club. Always busy and always happening. Look out for occasional PAs.

Sub Pop. hardcore dance and just about any other type of alternative music you could wish for. This eclectic club is well worth a visit.

I Feet Don't Fall Me Now at The Counting House. 9.30pm—lam. £1.50. New clubin an unusual club venue. DJs Lloyd Love and Doctor Ford (who DJs at The Pelican on Fridays and Saturdays) will be playing popular dance music avoiding elitism and commercial snobbery. The high Counting House ceiling will be lowered by means of camouflage netting and complemented with a predominantly red and green lightshow to give it that authentic Apocalypse Now feel.
