prayer rug (1 .30m by 80cm), hand-woven by the Belouch Tribe’s people and worth £120!

The shop, which operates a fairtrade policy, includes everything from Bangladeshi embroidery and Colombian patchwork to jewelleryfrom Afghanistan and India, and ceramics from Spain. From Sun 11 Aug-Sun 1 Sept, Eastern Artifacts moves from its regular site at 42/43 Hope Park Terrace to Edinburgh College ofArt for a major selling exhibition in the Edinburgh Fringe.
